Is Olivia Rodrigo dating Julian Croonenberghs?

Olivia Rodrigo appears to have gone public with her new relationship after being photographed sharing a series of affectionate moments with rumored boyfriend Julian Croonenberghs during a recent outing in Brooklyn.

The singer was seen holding hands with the private equity associate as the pair walked through a park before settling onto the grass together. Photos from the outing show Rodrigo sitting between Croonenberghs’ legs as he wrapped his arms around her, with the couple exchanging smiles and sweet gestures throughout the afternoon.

For the casual date, Rodrigo wore denim cutoff shorts, a black tank top, a navy baseball cap, and sunglasses, while Croonenberghs opted for a red pinstriped T-shirt, brown trousers, and white sneakers.

The outing marks the latest in a string of public appearances that have fueled speculation about the pair’s relationship. Earlier this month, fans spotted Rodrigo and Croonenberghs together at an airport in Iceland. Rodrigo later shared a TikTok from the trip, featuring clips of her lip-syncing to her recent single “Stupid Song” against the country’s scenic backdrop. Fans quickly noticed what appeared to be a man’s hand holding the camera, leading many to believe the pair had traveled together.

Neither Rodrigo nor Croonenberghs has publicly addressed the romance.

The reported relationship comes just weeks after the release of Rodrigo’s latest album, You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So In Love. The record has prompted widespread speculation that it reflects on her relationship with actor Louis Partridge, whom she dated from 2023 to 2025. While Rodrigo has not confirmed who inspired the songs, she acknowledged that the project changed significantly as she was writing it.

“I obviously started out writing with all these hopes, like, ‘This is gonna be a 100 percent love album,'” she told Pitchfork. “And obviously it didn’t end up that way. You can read between the lines on that one.”

Earlier this year, Rodrigo also shared how her perspective on relationships has evolved.

“Things happen the way that they’re supposed to happen,” she told Cosmopolitan. “It’s not supposed to be white-knuckle.”
