Miley Cyrus has just signed with Atlantic Records, and she’s already putting her creative vision front and center.
The singer joins Atlantic following her most recent stint with Columbia Records, where she released Endless Summer Vacation and Something Beautiful. Endless Summer Vacation became one of the biggest albums of her career thanks to the global smash hit “Flowers,” which earned Cyrus her first Grammy Award.
Prior to her move to Columbia, Cyrus spent over a decade signed to RCA Records, releasing fan-favorite albums including Bangerz, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz, Younger Now, Plastic Hearts, and several other projects that showcased her evolution as one of pop’s most versatile artists.
While no official details about her first Atlantic Records release have been announced, Cyrus has already hinted that new music is on the horizon. During a listening event for Something Beautiful last year, she teased that her next project would take an unexpected direction.
“My next album is about to be extremely experimental, so have fun with that,” she told fans.
The move to Atlantic suggests a fresh creative era for the singer, who has consistently reinvented her sound throughout her career, from the hip-hop influences of Bangerz to the rock-inspired Plastic Hearts and the introspective pop found on Endless Summer Vacation and Something Beautiful.
Outside of music, Cyrus has already celebrated several major milestones in 2026. Earlier this year, she marked the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana, the Disney Channel series that launched her career and made her a household name.
She also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, calling the honor one she would “always cherish.”
“To my family, my future family, parents, my mom, my siblings, my friends, my collaborators, thank you for loving and supporting not only the choices that I make, but my fears, and then facing them with me,” Cyrus said during the ceremony. “Today is something that I’ll never forget and I’m always going to cherish. I love you all so much, thank you.”
With a new record deal in place and an “extremely experimental” album already teased, Cyrus appears ready to usher in yet another bold era of her career under Atlantic Records.
