Olivia Rodrigo seems pretty busy or a girl who just released an album.
The Grammy-winning superstar announced on Monday (June 22) that she will host the inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival on Aug. 29 in Irvine, California. The event will feature an all-women lineup packed with some of music’s biggest names, including Chappell Roan, Doechii, KATSEYE, Mitski, Garbage, Rachel Chinouriri, Bikini Kill, The Breeders, and more.
Rodrigo shared the news on Instagram alongside the festival’s official poster, calling the event a longtime dream come true.
“Truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all,” she wrote. “I’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and I am so ecstatic it’s finally coming true!!”
Beyond curating the lineup, Rodrigo will also perform at the festival. Legendary rocker Stevie Nicks is among the event’s special guests, alongside Karen O and Sarah McLachlan.
What makes Daisy Chain Fields even more meaningful is its charitable mission. According to Rodrigo, 100 percent of the festival’s net proceeds will benefit organizations dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.
“Daisy Chain Fields features an all-women lineup and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls,” Rodrigo explained. “The lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that.”
Additional artists set to perform include Die Spitz, Eli, Not for Radio, Quiet Life, and Santigold, creating a diverse lineup that spans pop, rock, indie, punk, and alternative music.
Tickets will go on presale at 10 a.m. PT on Wednesday (June 24). Fans have until then to sign up via the newly created Daisy Chain Fields website to receive a presale passcode.
