Olivia Rodrigo releases full ‘You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love’ track list

You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So In Love

Fans of Olivia Rodrigo might just “Drop Dead” over the latest update from the pop superstar. On Tuesday, Rodrigo officially revealed the full track list for her highly anticipated third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, giving fans a closer look at the emotional themes behind the project.

The singer shared the announcement on Instagram alongside a moody photo of herself standing beside a park swing at night. Displayed in pink embroidery-style lettering were the names of all 13 songs featured on the album.

Interestingly, the tracklist is split into two sections titled “Girl So in Love” and “You Seem Pretty Sad,” dividing the album title in half and seemingly hinting at two emotional sides of the record.

The “Girl So in Love” section includes Rodrigo’s Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Drop Dead” alongside tracks titled “Stupid Song,” “Honeybee,” “Maggots for Brains,” “U + Me = <3,” “My Way” and “Purple.”

Meanwhile, the “You Seem Pretty Sad” portion features previously released songs “The Cure” and “Begged,” the latter of which Rodrigo recently performed on Saturday Night Live earlier this month. The section also includes “What’s Wrong With Me,” “Less,” “Expectations” and “Cigarette Smoke.”

“only 3 weeks till the album is yours!!!” Rodrigo wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “i can’t wait for you guys to hear these songs.”

Set for release on June 12, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love will mark Rodrigo’s first full-length release since 2023’s Guts. Her previous albums, Sour and Guts, both debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Rodrigo previously described the album as a collection of “sad love songs” during an interview with British Vogue in April.

“I realized all my favorite romantic love songs were beautiful because they had a tinge of fear or yearning in them,” she explained.

The singer also opened up about the emotional inspiration behind the project, sharing, “I felt a similar way about falling in love, that the second I’m in a really great relationship, I’m gonna start feeling good about myself, and this stuff is going to fall into place. But it just doesn’t work like that.”

You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love is set to release on June 12.
