Sabrina Carpenter new album

Sabrina Carpenter is entering a new era!

On Wednesday, June 11, the pop star surprise announced the release of her new album Man’s Best Friend.

“My new album, “Man’s Best Friend” 🐾 is out on August 29, 2025,” Carpenter, 26, wrote on Instagram. “i can’t wait for it to be yours x Pre-order now.”

Alongside the caption, the “Espresso” hitmaker shared an image of the album cover which features her on hands and knees in a black mini dress and black heels as a man cut out of the photo grabs a fistful of her blond curls.

Man’s Best Friend  follows Carpenter’s LP Short n’ Sweet, which was released last August and topped the charts.

The actress and singer released the lead single from her forthcoming album — “Manchild” — on Thursday, June 5.

The track was written by Carpenter and her collaborators Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen.

The Grammy-winning musician also shared some insight into how her latest single came about.

According to Carpenter, she wrote “Manchild” on “a random” Tuesday with her collaborators not long after she finished her sixth album, Short n’ Sweet.

“It ended up being the best random Tuesday of my life,” she wrote on Instagram, alongside behind-the-scenes snaps from the filming of the “Manchild” music video.
