It’s still not October, but Gaga is ready for her interview! At least according to a series of Instagram posts she is. After a week of teasing a secret project, Lady Gaga has finally announced Harelquin, a Joker 2 companion album.
The album announcement comes after mysterious billboards have been spotted throughout New York City teasing “LG 6.5,” a play on her upcoming seventh album that has been codenames LG7.
The red lettering on the advertisements matched the scrawl on a slew of cryptic posts that Gaga has been sharing on Instagram over the past few days, the first of which read “I’m ready for my interview.”
The star’s other messages include “Moon dust gets everywhere” and “Still not October.” The two new posts also each feature snippets of music fans hadn’t heard before.
It hasn’t been clarified whether this will be the official Joker: Folie à Deux soundtrack or just a separate project, though the track list does appear to include the few confirmed songs from the film including “That’s Life” and “Get Happy.” There does seem to be some original music as well, that will not be in the film.
