Jelly Roll lived yet another childhood dream this weekend at WWE SummerSlam where he performed both musically and in the ring.
The 39-year-old country star jumped in the ring on Saturday to help out wrestlers Miz and R-Truth by choke slamming their opponent Austin Theory. The event, held at the Cleveland Browns’ Stadium, roared with applause for the “I Need a Favor” singer.
“Crazy- I lived a child hood dream tonight in the craziest way I’ve ever lived it. Wow. Man thank you @WWE for everything . What a night,” Jelly Roll wrote on X after the event.
Jelly Roll also held up his promise to Triple-H from last month and performed his song “Liar” during the Summerslam opening.
WWE boss Triple H asked the country star if he was free to perform at the event on X back in July, “Btw, @JellyRoll615 – let me know if you’re free on Aug. 3 to play a few songs for the @WWEUniverse.”
The hitmaker was quick to respond to the invite, seemingly confirming the performance.
