Sabrina Carpenter may already have the song of the summer with her smash hit “Espresso,” but she seems to be releasing another single before the season begins.
On Instagram, the singer posted a 25 second teaser of her walking to the camera and planting a lipstick covered kiss on the lens. The video then fades with a retro-beach style instrumental.
No official announcement has been made of what the post is hinting towards, but all speculation aims towards the second single to her upcoming album. The short teaser seems to be the same instrumental we heard at the end of Sabrina’s “Espresso” music video which released in April.
In a recent interview with Interview Magazine, Carpenter was asked how she came up with her song titles. “Ooh, good question,” she replied. “I choose the names of my songs by things I feel would jump out at me on a piece of paper, and usually my songs start with titles.”
“Espresso” currently dropped to number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Since it’s release, an “Espresso EP” was also dropped. It includes the original version, as well as five remixes of the song, all titled to match the track’s name.
