Lady Gaga’s HBO special debuted tonight and the singer added a little surprise at the end for viewers. After a final bow, a snippet of a brand-new song began to play and the words, “LG7. Gaga returns,” flashed on the screen.
“Dance in the shadows of the night,” played in the final moments of the film. While no *official* release date has been confirmed, fans are eager to hear the first sample of the album. This will be Gaga’s first record since 2020’s Chromatica.

The Los Angeles premiere of Gaga Chromatica Ball preceded the film’s streaming debut on Max this weekend. Elsewhere on the red carpet, Lady Gaga answered questions from reporters, including one about her next album.
“I have written so many songs, I’ve been producing so many songs, and it’s nothing like anything that I’ve ever made before,” she told Access Hollywood. I love to break genre and I love to explore music. There’s something really beautiful about knowing that you will be loved no matter what you do.”
“Something I’m definitely exploring right now is sort of the art of intensity and I think that the art of intensity actually began during this tour,” she continued. “But I’m not done with it yet.”
Up next, Gaga is gearing up a new run of shows at the Dolby Live at Park MGM, kicking off on June 19th (Grab tickets here). She’ll also star opposite Joaquin Phoenix in Joker: Folie à Deux, which is set to open in theaters on October 4th, 2024.
