Melanie Martinez takes the form of a snail in her latest visual for Portals. The video, which boasts over a million views was released on Saturday.
“Light Shower” is the fifth song from Melanie’s latest album to get a video release. Preceded by “Void,” Death,” Tunnell Vision,” and “Faerie Soiree,” the visual follows Melanie in half-nymph, half-snail form chasing a ball of light from the sandy desert to a lush forest before evolving into a new form.
Just one day prior to this video release, Melanie kicked off her Trilogy tour, which combines her three albums into one set. Melanie teased fans with a captivating tour poster shared on her Instagram months ago.
The poster features two enchanting illustrations of her iconic characters from different albums. One character is from K12, wearing her classic pink and white school outfit, while the other one represents Portals. The other character was sporting a unique pink-skinned, four-eyed look.
