Fresh off the hype of her latest single “Miss Me Too,” Griff releases her fill EP titled Vert1go Vol. 2. The project expands upon last years Vol. 1.
The new release features four tracks including “Pillow In My Arms,” “Miss Me Too,” “Hole In My Pocket” and “Cycles.” Though, fans lucky enough to join Griff on her tour in Europe were able to catch a few of the songs live already.
Of “Pillow In My Arms,” the singer describes the song as “the aching of being alone.” Adding your pillow can be the only thing that’s been there for you when you get out of bed in the morning.
“Yeah, I dance, With a pillow in my arms
Oh, as if it hears me talking, And it loves me in the dark” She sings in the hook.
In 2021, Griff won the Brit Award for Rising Star, an honor previously bestowed on artists like Adele, Ellie Goulding, and Sam Smith. (She also met Swift at the same awards ceremony.) Since then, she’s opened for major acts like Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, and Coldplay, and she’s spent the past few months on a headlining tour across the U.K. and Europe, with additional stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Sydney, and Hong Kong.
