In case you forgot, Jojo Siwa is grown and she wants to emphasize that with her new project.
The singer and dancer, 20, has been posting teasers on social media for the past week, leading up to the release of a new, more mature song — and, in turn, a more mature image.
The new era for Siwa is launching with a new song called “Karma,” and in a behind-the-scenes video for the music video captioned, “She’s with you right now” — Siwa rocks a few outfits unlike anything she’s worn before. Among the outfits is a sheer cutout catsuit studded with crystals.
“I am now 20 years old. I have not stuck a hair bow in my hair for two years now,” she said last October on the first episode of her iHeart podcast, JoJo Siwa Now. “Nothing against the hair bow, I just haven’t worn it.”
Siwa continued: “And I still love them. I still love JoJo bows. I love what JoJo bows mean. I love what they stand for. I love my past of wearing them every day. I still sometimes stick little bows in.”
“Anyways, it’s been a long two years, haven’t worn one,” she added.
As of now, “Karma” has not been given a release date. Though, with the amount of hype Jojo has been sharing, we believe the track will be here soon!
