KATSEYE is keeping the momentum going. Fresh off the release of their new single “Pinky Up” and a standout debut at Coachella, the global girl group has officially announced their next project.
On Wednesday April 15, the five-member act revealed that their upcoming EP, Wild, will arrive Aug. 14 via HYBE in partnership with Geffen Records. According to a Spotify countdown page, the project will feature five tracks, including “Pinky Up,” which dropped earlier this month.
While the EP’s cover art has yet to be unveiled, Daniela, Lara, Megan, Sophia and Yoonchae celebrated the announcement with a playful backstage video shared on Instagram. In the clip, the members huddle together and tease the reveal before cutting to footage of the massive crowd they faced during their Coachella set. “They don’t know we’re about to announce our new EP, Wild,” they say in unison, capturing the excitement surrounding their rapid rise.
Wild will mark KATSEYE’s first EP since 2025’s Beautiful Chaos, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. The project included fan-favorite tracks like “Gnarly” and “Gabriela,” helping solidify the group’s place as one of pop’s most promising new acts.
The upcoming release also arrives during a transitional moment for the group. It will be their first multitrack project since Manon stepped back from activities to focus on her health and well-being. She was notably absent from the “Pinky Up” music video, released April 9.
Despite her hiatus, the group has continued to show unwavering support. Ahead of their first Coachella performance, Sophia spoke about Manon in an interview with Zane Lowe, emphasizing the bond between the members. “Manon has been on hiatus, and we love her so much, and we know that she’s doing well,” she said.
Lara echoed that sentiment, adding, “She’s our sister forever. We love her so much, and we built this together. So we just want to give her all the space and love she needs right now.”
After making their Coachella debut on April 10, KATSEYE is set to return to the festival for its second weekend on April 17, where anticipation is already building.
