The iconic musician and performance artist Peaches is back with “Not In Your Mouth None Of Your Business,” an electrifying protest anthem and rallying cry for bodily autonomy from her upcoming album No Lube So Rude. The pulsing punk-dance track, recorded in Berlin with producer The Squirt Deluxe, channels Peaches’ signature mix of provocation, empowerment, and unstoppable energy.
The single arrives alongside the announcement of a 27-date North American headlining tour kicking off February 20 in Miami. The run will feature support from Model/Actriz, Cortisa Star, and more to be announced. Known for her unfiltered, high-voltage performances, Peaches has earned praise from The Guardian for her “bravura” live shows, calling them “a masterclass in gleeful subversion.”
Peaches has also teamed up with PLUS1, with one dollar from every ticket sold benefiting the Trans Justice Funding Project. The initiative supports trans-led grassroots organizations across the U.S. and its territories, dedicated to uplifting trans, gender nonconforming, and non-binary communities.
“Not In Your Mouth None Of Your Business” marks the first single from Peaches’ upcoming album No Lube So Rude, her first full-length release in over a decade. The album, set for 2026, promises to push boundaries both sonically and thematically. Speaking about the project, Peaches explained, “When the world is friction, lube isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity. It’s how you turn that friction into pleasure, into power, into pride. I want people to understand that they can still have a voice no matter who they are or what the world says about them. Now more than ever, there are so many forces that just want you to give up and be quiet. If this album can help you resist that, then that’s what it’s for.”
Born Merrill Nisker, Peaches first broke through with her 2000 debut The Teaches of Peaches, which introduced her sexually transgressive and fiercely unapologetic persona. The album’s breakout single “Fuck the Pain Away” became a pop culture phenomenon, cementing her as one of the most daring voices in modern music. As Them Magazine noted, “Twenty years after The Teaches of Peaches, the world is still catching up with the artist’s brash, irreverent, and sexually self-assured life philosophy.”
Over the years, Peaches has released five groundbreaking albums, earning acclaim from The New York Times, which called her a “heroine,” and from Uncut, who praised her blend of “high art, low humour and deluxe filth.” She’s collaborated with an impressive list of artists including Iggy Pop, Daft Punk, Christina Aguilera, R.E.M., Kim Gordon, and Yoko Ono. Her work has been recognized with the Polaris Heritage Prize and featured in pop culture staples like Lost In Translation, The Handmaid’s Tale, South Park, and Broad City.
Beyond music, Peaches has cemented her status as a multifaceted creator. She has directed over 20 music videos, co-curated a photo book of her life, created immersive installations, and written the electro-rock opera Peaches Does Herself, later adapted into a film shown at more than 70 festivals. She has been the subject of two 2024 documentaries, Teaches of Peaches and Peaches Goes Bananas, and has taken on leading roles in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo and Brecht’s The Seven Deadly Sins. Her aesthetic influence even shaped Anthony Vaccarello’s AW21 Saint Laurent collection.
