Ashnikko announces new album ‘Smoochies’

Pop artist Ashnikko has announced their sophomore album, Smoochies, set for release on October 17.

Smoochies is described as Ashnikko’s most personal body of work yet, taking an autobiographical approach to its lyrics. The 15-track record follows the artist’s 2023 debut, WEEDKILLER.Smoochies feels like Demidevil‘s older sister. It’s sexy, playful, and feminine, while toeing the line of grotesque and absurd,” Ashnikko shares.

To support the album, Ashnikko has announced the UK Smoochies Tour, kicking off February 11 in Glasgow’s O2 Academy before making stops in Manchester and Dublin, and concluding at London’s O2 Academy Brixton. Tickets will be available through pre-sale starting August 19, with general sale beginning Thursday, August 21.

With one album already under their belt, Ashnikko has amassed over 3.9 billion global streams and 700 million video views, with breakout hits like “Slumber Party” and “Daisy.” Since the release of WEEDKILLER, the artist has spent 18 months touring the globe, headlining venues such as the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, embarking on a headline tour across Latin America, and performing at major festivals including Reading & Leeds, Madcool, Bonnaroo, and NOS Alive. Earlier this year, Ashnikko joined Billie Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour in Australia, performing at arenas nationwide.
